a new year with tirzah.

A while back i introduced you to a young lady by the name of ‘Tirzah’. A pretty named 14 year old blogger filled with a precious gift of writing!

 You will want to go and check out Tirzah’s blog.
As i mentioned before, there are not many that have the heart of Tirzah. AT 14…
She is filled with the Light to go into the darkness.
She dreams of being a published author, Christian pediatric psychologist,
 a graphic/web designer, or a missionary.

I believe she will be ALL of these! When you scroll through her blog,
you can see her spirit of humility, and example we all as ‘adults can take.
Remembering, Tirzah is only 14!
As I have come to know Tirzah over these past several months, 
i remind you that she has an amazing family

Happy New Year!

Guess what? Ten days ago the world was supposed to end.

 And that fact is totally and utterly unrelated to this post. 

(Oh, and NASA canceled the end of the world- just so you know.) 

 Some of us are entering 2013 with the hope of a fresh start, 

a chance to change our lives or the lives of others. 

Some of us must face 2013 with a brave face because we're scared of 

missing something important; time goes by so fast... 

At the same time some of us are entering 2013 with aching hearts; 

hearts filled with the pain of the past... and the future. 

None of us can know what 2013 will bring. Sometimes we'll feel happy. Other times we'll feel sad, angry, joyous, disappointed, excited, nervous, or just plain numb. We may even feel alone. Loneliness is a hard burden to carry. A lot of us have already carried it through 2012. I've carried it myself. I don't want to bring it into 2013. When we've got Jesus in our hearts, loneliness is a lie. If we've truly got Jesus, we're never alone. I love this letter from the book "His Princess: Love Letters from Your King" by Sheri Rose Shepherd.

You never need to hold on to anyone out of fear of being alone, My precious princess.

So as you're celebrating the new year - at home or with friends and family - remember that you are never alone. You don't have to be afraid. Everything is going to be okay. Jesus is right here with you... with me... with all of us.
